September 27 – 28 IV National Regatta
The Circolo Nautico Marina di Alimuri will host the 4th 2025 National Regatta of the Flying Dutchman Class from September 27th to 28th.
The event will take place under the patronage of the Municipality of Meta and the Campania Nautical Clubs Association and with the collaboration of the Lega Navale Italiana, Sorrento section, the Consortium of Beach Resort Operators of Meta Terra delle Sirene, the Casina dei Capitani association and the Metamare beach resort in Meta.
Registrations must be made through the “FIV Portal” at the CONINET link no later than September 20, 2025 through link (Event Code 2025-0623). Alternatively, you can use the link below to communicate your pre-registration for the regatta.
By this date, crews must pay the registration fee of €100.00 to the Organizing Committee via bank transfer:

If you are making a single bank transfer for multiple boats, please indicate the event and sail numbers of all boats you wish to register. Additionally, the following documents must be sent in a single email to info@alinuri.it, with the subject line “Event Documents [NAME AND SURNAME – SAIL NUMBER]”:
– Entry fee receipt
– Class cards
– Measurement certificate
– Third-party liability insurance with minimum coverage (€2,000,000) as per the FIV Regulations for National Sporting Activities Organized in Italy 2025
– Indemnity form for minor athletes signed by a parent, guardian, or support person who authorizes the minor to comply with the Rules (RRS 4.1(b)) and who, during the event, assumes responsibility for the minor’s participation in the race.
To be considered registered for the event, a boat must meet all registration requirements and have paid the registration fee. Those who have correctly registered through the “FIV Portal” at the CONINET link and sent all the required documentation in a single email to the address above will have no further documentation to submit.
The sailing instructions will be available upon registration from the first day of the regatta at the Regatta Office of Organizing Club.
PRIZES
The top three crews will receive awards. The following special prizes will also be awarded based on a cascade mechanism (*):
“Dante Alighieri” Award to the first-place finisher among boats with wooden hulls, or, failing that, with wooden hull parts
“Tasman Sea” Award to the first-place finisher among non-“full carbon” boats
“Monella” Award to the first-place finisher among boats with a manned helm who has been racing at the helm of a FD for less than five years and has participated in at least three national regattas in the last three years
Therefore, if a crew wins multiple categories, only the highest-ranking prize will be awarded, while the next award will go to the highest-ranking crew among the remaining teams.
RELATED EVENTS
Saturday, September 27th: Dinner reserved for crews at the MetaMare beach restaurant
Sunday, September 28th: In the evening, Raffaella and Giuseppe will be happy to host crews who are able to stay for dinner at their hilltop home. Please confirm your participation by September 19th.
Monday, September 29th: An excursion to one of the most picturesque locations in the area is planned. To best organize the excursion, registrations must be received by September 19th.
